Later Christmas morning the kids and Big D went with the neighbors. They pulled the kids behind their jeep on a sled. Those that weren't riding would sit in the back with the window popped open and watch and cheer. They had a blast! M got a little battle wound. A raspberry on his cheek. It was fun to watch them drive by.
It was truly a white Christmas! I guess it actually has to be snowing, and not just snow covered to be an official "White Christmas". So, you can see by the picture it was!
I was able to make things that I was taking to Christmas dinner while they were out and baby was sleeping.
We opened our family gifts, the kids decided their favorite (and only gift from us) was a trip to Hawaii!
Later that day we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for appetizers, dinner, dessert, and opening of the way too many gifts. The kids love it, but I like the way Steph and her parent's did it...a birthday celebration for Jesus. Including birthday cake, and that is it.
We love Christmas at our house! We love the spirit of it!
